                 Last day of school The day of saying goodbye to 13 years of school life is a very sad day 😥😥. That day, I felt how sad it was for friends who had been together for a long time to part. Like the children of one mother, we all cooperated and spent our time happily. We went to school earlier than usual. We had organized a small ceremony that day. The smile on the children's faces was much less then. We went there as the bell rang to start the morning meeting. In the speech give by the principal at the end of the morning meeting, the last day of our class was also mentioned. He presented a short story about how we spent our school life in 13 years. After the morning meeting, we prepared to start the ceremony. All the teachers including the principal participated in it. There, teachers as well as children given talks. Everyone was very sad about leaving school that day. At the end of the festival, the children were very sad. They hugged each other and started crying.

                 My best friend                               My friend's name is Rashmi Sandareka 👧. She is in Kahawaththa. She is the best friend I have met in my life. She is close to me in good time and bad times. Even though we are not in the same school, we are very close. She comes to visit me at my house even when she is free. She is like a sister to me. She is always there for me when I have any questions. My friend and her family are very close to me. There are no secrets between us. We both help each other in our studies. She tells me everything she knows. If she makes a special dish, she brings it to me. She is as close to me as my sister. She calls me whenever she goes on a special trip. She can draw beautifully. Her hobby is drawing. She draws as a bussiness. I also hel her in her work. I hope that our friendship will always be like this.

   The most memorable day of my life                               The day I dreamed was the day I realized the campus. It's a dream I've had for a long time. That moment was such a happy moment that I can't express in words. My friend gave me a phone call and told me that university cut-off marks have been released on the internet. With high hopes,I set out to see the breaking points. I had a lot of fear along with a lot of love in my heart. With all that I applied my exam number and prepared to see it. I was looking at it curiosly what would happen next. All at once I screamed loudly and started crying with what appeared on the screen. It was the happiness of my dream coming true. I shouted to my mother and told her that I got in to university of visual and performing arts. Mom suddenly came towards me and hugged me.                               My mother                                     My mother is the queen of my world 👑 🌎. He took care of me since childhood. She took care of me with love without feeling the least bit lacking. Mom comes to the room every morning and wakes me up with love. I wake up in the morning by making milk. She looks in to everything about me. We are like two best friends. I tell my everything with my mother. We both work very harmoniously. He cooks me the food I love. I don't want to be at home without my mother for a moment. She is eagerly waiting for me to come home. We are talking in our free time. We do it as a habit. Her biggest desire is for me to study and go to a good place. Mom is doing eveverything  possible to burn me to that place. My mother and I are very much in love.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 

                          My Family                           My family is a small family 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦. I have four members in my family👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 . There are father, mother, sister and me. My family members often cooperate. My father's name is Piyasena👨. My mother's name is Chandrawathi👩. My sister's name is Udeshika Ruwani👧. We help each other and work everyday. We talk about the day's activities every night while having dinner. We go to temple on holidays. Also, If a member of our family has a birthday. We go to the temple and have a Bodhi puja. We do it as a habit our family is always in harmony. When my father comes home in the evening,he brings us our favorite things 🎂🍇🍉🥑🍍🍨🍭🍡. He always tries to make us happy.                           My Hobby                                 My hobby is reading books 📚 📚  . I have to read books since childhood. So far I have a large number of books. I read books whenever I have free time👩‍🏫👩‍🏫. My family also often brings me books. Among the books that I have read, I prefer books like Guru geethaya, Madolduwa, Kaliyugaya and Yuganthaya etc. I have read a large number of Martin Wickramasinghe's books. New knowledge is gained by reading books. I am also a member of the city library because of my love of reading books. There is also a saying that "reading makes a man complete".                         My school                             My school name is R/Dharmapala maha vidyalaya. It is a sinhala medium school. My school is big school. My school is very beautiful. My school color is blue. There are 30 teachers in my school. My school has classes from 1st grade to 13th grade. My school was built by Dharmapala. It is a buddhist school. My school is famous for teakwondo. There are about 25 classrooms in my school. There is a statue of Dharmapala in front of my school. Arts , commerce , science and mathematics streams are taught in  the higher division. My school is located in the middle of  Rathnapura city. There are 3housesin my school namely Hansa, Mayura and kokila. The school sports festival is conducted with great grandeur. It is wish that my school inproves day by day. May my side always win.                           My Village                           My village Thuththiripitiya is located on a small mountain top.🏞️🏞️ It is a small village. This is located near Niwithigala town. The people living in this village are engaged in the mining industry. Apart from that, there are crops like tea, rubber and coconut in my village. Gem are mostly found in the village and there is a huge demand for them.💎💎 My school is located in my village. 🏘️🏘️ There are beautiful places in my village. Among them,kiribathgala mountain has a special place. Besides, there are natural beauties like rivers, mountains and waterfalls. Farming is done in my village which consister of beautiful fields. A large number of families live in my village. A beautiful river flows through my village. It is known as we river.My village is a beautiful village.⛰️🏞️

                        MY SELF                                 My name is Nadeesha Sewwandi. I'm 22 years old. I am in Rathnapura. I studied at R/ Thuththiripitiya vidyalaya and R/Dharmapala Maha vidyalaya🏘️🏘️. I am currently studying at the university of visual and performing Arts 👩‍🎓👩‍🎓. I have four members in my family. That is mother, father, sister and me. My favourite colour is pink. My favourite food is rice and curry. My favourite Drink is orange juce 🍸 🍸 🍸 . My favourite person is father. I like to read books 📚 , play guitar 🎸  🎸  and watch TV 📺📺📺. I like to wear frock 👗👗👗. My village is Thuththiripitiya. It is small village. It is located on top of a hill. I have many friends 👬👫. I have a sister 👧. Her name Udeshika Ruwani. She is married. She is in Horana. I like music 🎶 🎶 . My future hope is to become a music teacher 🎶🎵🎼🎧.

                          RATHNAPURA                            Rathnapura can be known as a city that occupies a special place in the province of Sabaragamuwa. This is also known as Minipura.💎💎 This city, which is famous for gems, can be described as an area populated by gem businessmen. The main livelihood of the people living in this area is mining.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               There are also tea, rubber, coconut and rebted industries and they also use them as means of livelihood. Rathnapura with its           Moderte climate  is also favorable  for cultivation. The sinharaja forest, an evergreen rain forest, is also a unique gift of this area.                                                                                                                      

                BLACK RIVER                                   Kalu Gaga is very famous river in sri Lanka. The river is originates from Samanalakanda. This river falows in to the sea at Kaluthara. The Kalu Gaga flows throught the Rathnapura and Kaluthara Distric. The length of Kalu Gaga is 129 km. Kalu Gaga basin is one of the most important river basing in Sri Lanka which receives very high rainfalls and has higher discharges. The special fearure of Kalu Gaga is that its irrigation technology is very advanced.  Among them the lake embankement is special. There are many tributaries of this Kalu Gaga. As the tributaries of the Kalu Gaga rivers like Kuru Gaga, Denawaka Gaga, Maguru Gaga, Delwala Gaga, Niriyali Gaga can be pointed out. The Black River irrigates large area of Sri Lanka.

             Sabaragamuwa Maha Saman Dewalaya It is located in Rathnapura District of Sabaragamuwa province.This was built for Lord Sumana Saman.This temple is located on a high ground on the left side of the main road on the Rathnapura - Panadura main road,three kilometers from Rathnapura.Due to the sacrifices,rituals around the temple,it brings value but also culturally.Daily pooja and karthu pooja are important among the main cultural features of the temple.Starting from the month of Esala, a procession festival is also held in a very grand manner.
